An Adelaide local has discovered a mid-week treat today after checking their X Lotto entry from the weekend’s draw and realising they were the division one winner The Lott officials had been searching for.
The happy winner held one of the seven division one winning entries nationally in X Lotto draw 4095, drawn Saturday 17 October 2020. Each entry took home a division one prize of $928,717.27.
The winning entry was not registered to an Easiplay Club card so officials from The Lott had no way of contacting the winner and had to wait for them to come forward to claim their prize.
However, how the thrilled winner plans to enjoy their windfall will forever remain a mystery as they have chosen to stay completely anonymous and celebrate their life-changing prize in private.
The winning entry was purchased at Greenacres & Klemzig Newsagency, Shop 1, Greenacres Shopping Centre, 132 Mullers Road, Greenacres.
Greenacres & Klemzig Newsagency owner Robert Li said he was thrilled his customer had been united with their prize.
“We are so happy for our customer! We are thrilled they have realised their life-changing win,” he shared.
“We hope they enjoy the moment!
“It has been a very lucky start for us as we only took over the shop three months ago.
“We hope to keep serving wins to our customers and wish everybody good luck!”
The Lott spokesperson Bronwyn Spencer said while we would never know how the Adelaide winner planned to enjoy their prize, today was sure to be a day they would always remember.
“Imagine checking your ticket mid-week only to realise you’ve been walking around a division one winner for several days!” she exclaimed.
“We’ve got no doubt the discovery has been a delightful mid-week treat for our winner.
“Other winners have told us they use their windfall to upgrade their home, plan a long-overdue holiday or buy a flash new car.

Last financial year, X Lotto created 127 millionaires across Australia.
The winning numbers in X Lotto draw 4095 on Saturday 17 October 2020 were 14, 12, 8, 38, 5 and 16, while the supplementary numbers were 3 and 17.
Across Australia, there were seven division one winning entries in X Lotto draw 4095 – three from Victoria, and one each from Queensland, the ACT, South Australia and Western Australia.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 319 so far this calendar year, including 29 won by SA Lotteries customers.
Between 1 July 2019 and 30 June 2020, there were 318 division one winning Saturday X Lotto entries across Australia, which collectively won more than $346.12 million.
