A generous Helens Park man has declared he plans to share his $100,000 Lucky Lotteries prize with his brother, who gifted him the winning ticket.

The Sydney resident held the 1st Prize winning entry in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10734, drawn Wednesday 23 November 2022.

“This is crazy! The ticket was a gift from my brother and we’re both in disbelief,” the winning man exclaimed when confirming his win with an official from The Lott.

“It’s absolutely amazing. It’s the best gift ever!

“I scanned the ticket and had to call him over. We were both celebrating like it was the best day of our lives.

“I’ll be able to pay off the car but then I have no idea what I’ll do with the win.

“It will definitely be shared with my brother and family, but I might have to treat myself too!

“What a day!”

The winning entry of one random number was purchased from newsXpress Campbelltown, Shop L35b, Macarthur Square, 200 Gilchrist Drive, Campbelltown.

The newsXpress Campbelltown team said they’re over the moon to have sold a major prize-winning entry and wished their winner all the best.

The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $1.48 million for draw 1599, while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize is now $1.67 million for draw 10735.

In FY22, 169 Lucky Lotteries 1st Prize and Jackpot winning entries across Australia won more than $32.95 million.

Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot and Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot are raffle-style games, which means there is a set number of tickets in each draw. As each ticket number is unique there is no sharing of prizes.

Each game has two draws – one that determines the winning numbers and one that determines the jackpot number. If the jackpot number matches one of the winning numbers, then the Jackpot Prize is won. If the jackpot number does not match one of the winning numbers, the Jackpot Prize will climb for the next draw.
