A Bonner man is planning to reunite with his family who he hasn’t seen in over a decade after discovering he won the 1st Prize in today’s Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw.
The Canberra player won the guaranteed 1st Prize of $200,000 in Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw 1354, drawn Monday 17 June 2019.
Speaking with a NSW Lotteries official this afternoon to claim his prize, the excited man said the unexpected win had made his day.
“Unreal,” he laughed.
“Oh god, that is great. I can’t believe it.
“I have been getting calls all over the place, so I thought it was a hoax.
“I’m glad it’s not. You have made my day!
“You don’t understand how much this means to me and how incredible I feel right now.
“It’s a relief and a half! It’s come at the perfect time.
“It’s a great start to the week. I can’t wait to celebrate this weekend.”
When asked how he planned to use his prize, the family man said it would allow him to tick off a few items on his bucket list.
“The first thing I am going to do is pay off some bills,” he said.
“I want to bring some of my family from overseas here to Australia for a holiday.
“It’s been on my wish list for a long time. It’s my number one wish. Family means everything to me.
“I will go on a holiday too with my family. I need one bad! I will go over to Spain for a big holiday. I haven’t been there in years and I love it.”
The winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his entry of two random numbers online at thelott.com – Australia’s official lotteries.
The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $74.20 million for draw 1356 while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot is now $1.80 million for draw 10295.
