A Sydney woman says her unexpected Lucky Lotteries win has given her the financial freedom she has been dreaming of, after winning the guaranteed 1st Prize of $200,000 in yesterday’s Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw.
The regular Lucky Lotteries player won the guaranteed 1st Prize of $200,000 in Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw 1200, drawn Monday 21 January 2019.
Confirming her win with a NSW Lotteries official this morning, the winner revealed she initially thought her good fortune was a mistake.
“I checked my ticket on the Lott app and it came up that I had won $200,000,” she laughed with excitement.
“I thought ‘there’s no way that could be right, this must be a scam!’
When she eventually realised the news was in fact true the woman revealed she had been playing Lucky Lotteries for months, hoping to score the Mega Jackpot prize.
“I have been hoping for millions but this is more than I ever thought I would win, that’s for sure!” she exclaimed.
“I can’t wait to celebrate with my family!”
The ecstatic winner said her prize would give her the financial freedom she had been dreaming of.
“I will be sensible and pay some bills but it will feel so great to put this towards my mortgage,” she revealed.
The winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased her winning entry of six random numbers at Jordan Springs Newsagency, Shop 4, Woolworths Jordan Springs, 61-63 Watergum Drive, Jordan Springs.
Jordan Springs Newsagency owner Jack Miao said he was thrilled for his winner.
“We have been selling lots of winning entries lately, we couldn’t be more excited!” he exclaimed.
“We hope that the good luck in our outlet will continue!
“We wish our customer all the best.”
The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $37.48 million for draw 1203 while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot is now $2.84 million for draw 10268.
