The team at Kylie Brown’s Newsagency is celebrating in store today after selling their second Keno Spot 8 prize worth $50,000 in just three months.

An Adelaide local scored a Keno Spot 8 winning entry worth $50,000 in Keno draw 2563946, drawn 27 November 2019.

The win comes just 12 weeks after the outlet sold a Keno Spot 8 winning entry worth $50,000 in Keno draw 2534365, drawn 3 September 2019.

However how the winner of the outlet’s latest major prize plans to enjoy their windfall will forever be a mystery as they have chosen to remain completely anonymous and celebrate in private.

The winning entry was sold at Kylie Brown’s Newsagency is located at Shop 17/Bayside Village Shopping Centre, Glenelg.

Kylie Brown’s Newsagency owner Kylie Brown said she thought her store was fast becoming one of the luckiest in the city.

“It’s so good! A very nice win for one of our customers!” she exclaimed.

“We aren’t sure why we are such a lucky store, but we are really starting to feel like one!

“We’ve sold a few major prizes over the years but never this close together.

“We’re celebrating in store and telling all of our customers any chance we get that we’ve sold another big one.

“It was nice to see a local win big!”

The Lott spokesperson Bronwyn Spencer said that while we might not know how Adelaide’s latest major prize winner planned to enjoy their prize, there is no doubt their plans for the rest of the year would change.

“Imagine scoring $50,000 in the lead up to the festive season! Think of all of the ways you could enjoy the extra cash around Christmas!” she exclaimed.

“Other winners have told us they use their windfall to go on holidays, buy a new car or renovate their home.

“No doubt our winner will be planning a fun, festive Christmas with their windfall.”

In the 12 months to 30 June 2019, there were 27 Keno Spot 8, 9 and 10 winners across South Australia who scored more than $5.98 million.  The Spot 10 prize was won twice during this time – a win worth more than $1.7 million was won in Mansfield Park in October 2018, and a prize of more than $2.1 million was won in Findon in June 2019.

Keno is a game whereby 20 numbers are randomly generated from a possible 80. To win a Keno Spot 8 prize, a player must match all eight of the numbers selected on their ticket against the 20 numbers drawn.
