A Muswellbrook woman received a lot more than a new robe and slippers when she discovered the gift pack her son gave her for Mother’s Day contained a 1st Prize winning entry in a recent Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw.
The New South Wales resident took home the guaranteed 1st Prize of $200,000 in Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw 1611, drawn Monday 15 May 2023.
“I feel amazing!” the winning woman cheered when officials from The Lott confirmed the winning news.
“My son bought me a gift pack for Mother’s Day, and I found out I won on Monday!
“I checked my entry in the morning and looked at the prize!
“I was in disbelief. I just kept thinking that it couldn’t be right.
“I had to zoom in to make sure that I wasn’t seeing things.
“It’s an unwritten rule that I’ll have to share this prize with my son!
“After that, the rest will go toward my mortgage.
“What an amazing Mother’s Day!
“Thank you so much.”
Her winning entry of one random number was purchased from Southside Newsagency, Shop 2, 27-29 Maitland Road, Muswellbrook.
