A Maryborough shopper is heading into the weekend dreaming of all the ways they could enjoy their $100,000 Instant Scratch-Its windfall.
The top prize winning $5 Crosswords ticket was purchased at News & Gifts Station Square, Shop 30-31 Station Square, Maryborough.
However, how the winner plans to spend their $100,000 instant windfall will forever be a mystery as they have chosen to remain completely anonymous and celebrate in private.
News & Gifts Station Square employee Drew Maher said he was over-the-moon when he discovered he’d sold the winning entry.
“I was so happy for our customer when they came back holding the ticket worth $100,000, we’re so excited!” he exclaimed.
“The store has sold a few top prize winning Instant Scratch-Its tickets over the years, so it’s great to add another one to our list.
“This is fantastic for the local community. Congratulations to our winner!”
Instant Scratch-Its spokesperson Lauren Cooney said the Maryborough winner was just one of many Instant Scratch-Its top prize winners from Queensland in recent months.
“This Maryborough win comes just weeks after a Gladstone mum scored $200,000 on a $15 Crosswords Instant Scratch-Its ticket!” she exclaimed.
