A Hurstville couple have returned from a holiday to discover their overseas trip has been paid for ten times over thanks to their $200,000 Lucky Lotteries win.

Confirming their win with a NSW Lotteries official this morning, the woman said she received the best surprise when she touched down in Australia last night.

“It has definitely paid for our holiday. It’s such a welcomed surprise.
“We’re thrilled. We’re over the moon.

“The reason we bought this ticket in the first place is because a bird pooed on our daughter.
“So thought it was a sign of good luck!”
The husband and wife didn’t need long to decide exactly how they’d be using their prize.
“We will certainly put it towards our mortgage,” she said.
The happy winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his entry of two consecutive numbers online at thelott.com.
The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $84.04 million for draw 1397 while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot is now $2.58 million for draw 10301.
